BACKGROUND
In order for sports to become their main job, and for the industry to develop further, sports fans should send their support and support for sportsmanship, not their visuals.
EXECUTION
Medal-winning athletes at the Olympics may receive large bonuses, but most competitors don’t, leaving many to work side jobs to support their Olympic dreams.
According to a study by Global Athlete on athletes from nearly 50 countries, many rely on parental support, prize money, and side jobs, with no regular income from the sport itself.
Many players, including New Zealand rower Robbie Manson, also publish adult content on OnlyFans for funding.
INSIGHT
We hijack "OnlyFans," a platform where athletes often share explicit content for financial support.
Through "RealFans" accounts, we upload inspiring sports moments, highlighting athletic achievements over sexuality. This encourages fans to focus on true sportsmanship, not just visuals.
"And reaching out to all well-known athletes already producing adult content on OnlyFans, asking them to simultaneously share their painful moments, intense training, and personal struggles."
We also make a new category at the Laureus World Sports Awards to honor the most financially challenged yet high-performing athlete.
Donations from Onlyfans subscriptions will be awarded to the winner.
